We can assist your organisation in securing EU funding for environmental and climate action projects

Support your sustainable solutions through LIFE Programme funding

Support your sustainable solutions through LIFE Programme funding

The LIFE Programme (LIFE) is a leading EU funding instrument for advancing environmental sustainability across Europe. With a budget of €5.4 billion for the 2021-2027 programme period, LIFE finances projects that focus on circular economy, climate change mitigation and adaptation and clean energy transitions. These projects are essential to meeting ambitious Green Deal objectives.

LIFE calls target not only groundbreaking solutions, but also best practice projects applying cost-effective, existing solutions, techniques, methods and approaches. The level of innovation is measured at country and industry level, not across the entire EU or globally. Driven by our tech-forward, people-empowered network, our CEE Incentives Hub offers unmatched professional guidance through all application steps.

Case study

LIFE WATEROIL: Process water treatment unit

Project Description: We assisted our client in an application for their innovative project. This aims to improve wastewater treatment for high water demand industries, using enzyme-microbiological bioactivators to meet stricter EU discharge standards.

This sustainable approach will reduce pollution in Bulgaria’s Mandra-Poda water basin. It’ll also demonstrate the feasibility of substituting fresh water with treated wastewater, benefiting both the refinery and the local environment.

Project location: Bulgaria

Project budget: €2.5 million

Successful outcome: After the project application submission, the project was awarded €1.4 million from the LIFE.
