Setting the scene

Our client’s vision was to use AI to revolutionise customer experience and satisfaction, and to transform process efficiency and optimise costs. They also wanted to use AI to grow their customer base and move employee satisfaction forward.

Specific elements of this project were to help our client:

  • Understand the company’s baseline level of AI adoption.
  • Identify any issues and propose improvements in AI implementation.
  • Define the ambitions, vision and concrete goals of AI transformation.
  • Outline the steps on how the company will unlock AI’s potential.

How we helped

The project was executed in two phases: 

We started by examining our client’s AI readiness based on our PwC global AI implementation methodology. We explored five key dimensions: strategy, data, technology, governance and security, culture and change management. This was a comprehensive examination of each dimension to identify readiness gaps for AI implementation, including recommendations to accelerate progress.  

We identified strategic objectives and critical key areas for AI adoption. With this roadmap, we conducted workshops with individual organisational units to identify priorities and high-impact use cases.

We also developed thematic recommendations with specific activities. These were to build increased internal AI maturity for a controlled and smooth implementation of AI use cases.
